Debra Carus is a Senior Certified Instructor for Art Clay World, Inc. and teaches regular classes in her studio in Portland, Oregon.
"My goal in teaching is to help people quickly achieve sophisticated results, and take them from beginner to intermediate jewelry makers in a couple of sessions." Debra certifies instructors, teaching Level One and Senior Level certification workshops, as well as other jewelry making techniques such as enameling on fine silver, and chainmail techniques. All her classes are listed on the "Classes" page on her website, where online registration is also available.
Debra uses Metal Clay Findings including: tubes, embeddable earwires, tabbed open back bezels, ring liners, and balls. She teaches students how to incorporate these findings into their projects, and "it is a fantastic enhancement and skill-building opportunity for them."
